Unfortunately, my water dispenser's problem was a GE design defect where the water line freezes in the door.I found reference to this once I had installed the valve and it still did not work.I taped some thin shipping foam on the back side of the door to protect the dispenser area from the fan, and turned the freezer control one notch warmer.I tried the water whenever I walked by, and about 4 hours later, the water dispenser worked again.
