(More customer reviews)I just bought this unit and liked its features. My 15 year old unit a Whirlpool had started to leak water from the icemaker valve, so weighing my options of a 150 dollar plus repair or buying a new unit we decided to get a new refrigerator.
They installed it today after my purchase of the unit at Western Appliance and it looked wonderfull. After reading the instructions I tried to bleed the air out of the waterline and found myself standing in a puddle!
Water sprays out from under the unit when I press the water button. The store assures me that they will send out someone Monday to fix the unit. I am very disappointed in the fact that I thought I was buying a high quality unit from a top manufacturer, and I got a piece of XXXX. Well so much for buying a name brand KitchenAid from a top quality retail store Western Appliance, High Quality, I don't think so!
