(More customer reviews)Two years after buying the unit the compressor went out.I called their office in Florida and was told by a VERY rude "customer service" rep. that there is nothing they can do.She said the compressor is warranted for five years but I have to have in removed it and ship it to them for replacement.Unbelievably she could not recommend a single repair shop in Arizona that worked on Avanti's.I called several shops and they all said the Avanti's are sealed and I was looking at about a $900.00 repair (for a cooler I paid $650 for) and a minimum of six weeks until completion.I'm buying another unit however; I will never buy another Avanit!
